What’s Your Perceived Value?

To sell a product, marketers must find new and creative ways to increase a products perceived value.

Shaving razors are a great example of this as they continue to add more and more blades to make consumers think they are getting a far superior product.

Young people need to embrace this phenomenon if they want to stand any chance of finding work in the current economy.

It’s no good sending out CVs that tell an employer that you have the same degree as thousands of others. Instead, increase your own perceived value by focusing on the company’s unique needs and tailoring your experiences towards them.

Remember, perceived value gets you through the door but real value keeps you inside.
